New Pokemon in General

So the pokemon are getting lamer and lamer every generation. Some I do like, though. The point is, the creators are going over the top. Even the more simple pokemon are too complicated. I mean, the new water starter is what? A snowman? See I can't even tell what animal it's based on until my cousin told me it was an otter.










The new legandaries are also getting freakier. Look at Mew, Lugia, Moltres, Zapdos, and so on. Now compare them to Palkia, Dialga, Arceus, and the new generation legendaries. What differences do you see? I even think that they look like robots. Mew is simple but creative. So is Lugia. Arceus is over thought and overwhelming.
